I was immediately drawn to this bold geometric jewelry from A Peace Treaty, who describe their work as "a collection aimed at creating ethically-produced, artisan-level accessories and apparel". Farah Malik and and Dana Arbib, a Pakistani Muslim and a Libyan Jew, respectively, combine their love of design and fashion with a wish to promote awareness of ancient dwindling crafting traditions. They also give to reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan and assist in educating and empowering Afghan and Pakistani women widowed or disabled by war.
